Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering, or an equivalent recognised qualification.
- The degree should include at least one relevant subject, such as Agriculture, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science, Environmental Science, Forestry, Geology, Horticulture, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Veterinary Science or Zoology.
- Eligible engineering disciplines may include Agricultural, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Electronics and Mechanical Engineering, subject to the detailed recruitment notification.
- The qualification must have been obtained from a recognised university or institution by the prescribed eligibility date.

Age Limit
- Minimum age: 21 years.

- SC and ST candidates are generally eligible for an upper-age relaxation of five years.
- OBC/MOBC candidates may receive an upper-age relaxation of three years.
