Overview

The Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC), under the Ministry of Ayush, will conduct AYUSH NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 1 for admission to undergraduate Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and Homoeopathy programmes. Eligible NEET UG 2026 candidates will be able to register, pay the counselling fee and submit their college and course preferences online at aaccc.gov.in. The total number of available seats has not yet been announced and will be confirmed through the official seat matrix.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology, and English from a recognised board.
  • Applicants must have appeared in and qualified NEET UG 2026 by securing the applicable category-wise minimum qualifying percentile.
  • Candidates must satisfy the course-specific admission requirements for BAMS, BSMS, BUMS or BHMS.
  • Additional language or subject conditions may apply to certain courses, particularly BSMS and BUMS, as prescribed by the relevant regulatory authorities.
  • Only candidates meeting the institutional, nationality and category requirements will be considered for allotment.

Age Limit

  • The candidate should generally have completed 17 years of age on or before December 31, 2026.
  • Any upper-age requirement or relaxation will be governed by the prevailing NEET UG and AYUSH admission regulations.
  • Candidates should verify age-related conditions from the 2026 information bulletin before registering.

Fees

  • A non-refundable registration fee will be payable online during counselling registration.
  • Candidates may also have to deposit refundable security money, depending on the institution category selected.
  • Fee amounts for government, central, national and deemed university seats may differ.

Selection Process

  1. NEET UG merit: Candidates must qualify NEET UG 2026 and meet the prescribed eligibility conditions for AYUSH undergraduate admission.
  2. Registration and choice submission: Eligible candidates must register for AACCC counselling, pay the required fee, and fill and lock their preferred courses and institutions.
  3. Seat allotment and reporting: Seats will be allotted on the basis of NEET rank, category, reservation rules, seat availability and choices submitted. Selected candidates must download the allotment letter and report as instructed.

How to Apply

  1. Visit the official AACCC counselling portal at aaccc.gov.in.
  2. Open the UG Counselling 2026 section and select the Round 1 registration link.
  3. Read the counselling scheme, eligibility rules, participating-institute list and seat matrix carefully.
  4. Register using the required NEET UG 2026 details, including roll number, application number and other personal information.
  5. Verify the registered mobile number and email address, as counselling alerts may be sent through these channels.
  6. Complete the application form and pay the registration fee and security deposit through the available online payment facility.
  7. Select preferred AYUSH courses and colleges in order of priority. Candidates should add multiple realistic choices to improve their allotment prospects.
  8. Review and lock the choices before the deadline. Save or print the locked-choice slip and payment receipt.
  9. Check the Round 1 allotment result and, if selected, download the provisional allotment letter.
  10. Follow the prescribed reporting, document verification and admission-fee instructions within the allotted period.

Candidates should keep their NEET scorecard, Class 10 and 12 certificates, identity proof, category certificate, photographs and other applicable documents ready.

2. Is choice filling compulsory after registration?

Yes. Registration alone does not make a candidate eligible for allotment. Applicants must submit and preferably lock their course and college choices within the notified period.
