The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) has issued the admit card for the Assistant District Prosecution Officer examination 2026. Candidates registered for the recruitment drive covering 66 ADPO posts can download their hall tickets from psc.cg.gov.in using their application credentials.

Candidates must rely on the date and shift shown on their individual hall tickets. They should also reach the examination centre well before the reporting deadline, as late entry may not be permitted.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a university or institution recognised by law in India.
  • The required qualification should have been completed by the eligibility cut-off date prescribed in the recruitment notification.
  • Candidates called for document verification must produce their degree certificate, mark sheets and other supporting records in original.
  • Applicants whose final results were not declared by the prescribed cut-off date may not be treated as eligible unless specifically permitted under the recruitment rules.

Age Limit

  • The minimum age requirement is generally 21 years.
  • The standard upper age limit is 30 years, calculated as on the cut-off date stated in the notification.
  • Eligible Chhattisgarh-domiciled candidates may receive relaxation in the upper age limit under state government rules.
  • Additional relaxation is applicable to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Class, women, persons with benchmark disabilities and other notified categories.
  • The final age eligibility will be determined from the date of birth recorded in the candidate’s matriculation certificate.

Fees

  • Chhattisgarh residents are eligible for the examination-fee concession prescribed by the commission, subject to applicable portal or processing charges.
  • Candidates from outside Chhattisgarh are generally required to pay an examination fee of Rs 400, in addition to applicable online charges.
  • Correction charges, where applicable, must be paid separately.
  • Fees paid through the online portal are normally non-refundable.

Selection Process

The CGPSC ADPO recruitment process is expected to include the following stages:

  1. Written Examination: Candidates will be tested on relevant legal subjects, general knowledge and other areas specified in the examination scheme.
  2. Interview: Candidates shortlisted from the written examination will be called for a personality test or interview, subject to the applicable recruitment rules.

How to Apply

The online application period has concluded. Registered candidates can now obtain their admit cards by following these steps:

  1. Visit the official CGPSC portal at psc.cg.gov.in.
  2. Open the Admit Card or latest notifications section on the homepage.
  3. Select the link for the Assistant District Prosecution Officer Examination 2026.
  4. Enter the registered mobile number, email address, application number or password, as requested on the login page.
  5. Submit the credentials and check the candidate details displayed on the screen.
  6. Download the CGPSC ADPO admit card and save a copy on the device.
  7. Print at least two clear copies for use on the examination day and for future reference.
  8. Check the candidate’s name, photograph, signature, roll number, examination centre, date, shift and reporting time carefully.
  9. If any information is incorrect, contact CGPSC through the official helpdesk before the examination instead of attempting to alter the hall ticket.

Candidates must carry the printed admit card, an original government-issued photo ID and any additional documents specified in the examination instructions. Electronic devices, study material and prohibited items should not be taken inside the centre.
