Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Anganwadi Worker: Candidates must have passed High School (Class 10) from a recognized board. Preference will be given to those with a diploma in Early Childhood Care Education (ECCE) or related fields.
  • Anganwadi Helper: Candidates must be at least 8th pass from a recognized school.
  • Candidates must be local residents of the respective village/ward where the Anganwadi centre is located, as per the ICDS norms.

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age: 35 years (as on the application deadline)
  • Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates and other state-government rules will apply.

Application Fees

  • General/OBC: ₹200/-
  • SC/ST/PWD: ₹100/-
  • Payment can be made online through debit/credit card, net banking, or UPI.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be done on the basis of:

  1. Merit List — Prepared based on the candidate's educational qualification and marks obtained in Class 10 (or 8th for Helper posts).
  2. Document Verification — Shortlisted candidates will be called for verification of age, residence, caste, and educational certificates.
  3. Final Appointment — After verification, a final merit list will be published and appointment letters will be issued to selected candidates.

  • Anganwadi Helper: ₹3,500 per month (honorarium).
