Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Office Assistant (Multipurpose): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university or an equivalent qualification. Proficiency in the local language prescribed by the participating RRB is generally required, along with working knowledge of computers.
- Officer Scale I: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university. Preference may be given to candidates with qualifications in agriculture, horticulture, forestry, animal husbandry, veterinary science, agricultural engineering, information technology, management, law, economics or accountancy.
- Officer Scale II: A bachelor’s degree with the percentage specified in the notification, along with the prescribed professional experience. Specialist Officer positions may require qualifications in fields such as IT, law, chartered accountancy, treasury, marketing or agriculture.
- Officer Scale III: Bachelor’s degree with the required marks and relevant experience as an officer in a bank or financial institution.
- Candidates must possess the required qualification and experience by the cut-off date stated in the detailed notification.
Age Limit
- Office Assistant: Generally between 18 and 28 years.
- Officer Scale I: Above 18 years and below 30 years.
- Officer Scale II: Above 21 years and below 32 years.
- Officer Scale III: Above 21 years and below 40 years.
- Age will be calculated on the cut-off date specified by IBPS. Relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, ex-servicemen and other eligible categories will apply under government rules.
Fees
