MP Police Constable Syllabus and Exam Pattern

The written examination is expected to consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions. Based on the standard MP Police Constable framework, the paper is likely to assess the following areas:

  • General Knowledge and Reasoning: Current affairs, Madhya Pradesh general knowledge, Indian history, geography, civics, logical reasoning, coding-decoding, series and analogies.

  • Science and Simple Arithmetic: Basic physics, chemistry, biology, percentages, averages, ratios, profit and loss, time and work, mensuration and number systems.

The exact number of questions, marks, examination duration and negative-marking rule must be checked in the official 2026 syllabus PDF. Technical posts may have an additional paper or specialised questions. Candidates should avoid relying solely on previous-year patterns because MPESB may revise the scheme.
