The Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) has released the MP RAEO Admit Card 2026 for the Rural Agriculture Extension Officer (Group 2, Sub-Group 1) Computer Based Test (CBT). Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or an equivalent qualification from a recognised university.
- Final-year students who expect to complete their degree by the exam date are also eligible, subject to submission of proof at the time of document verification.
- A working knowledge of Hindi is essential, as the exam is conducted in Hindi and English.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 years (as of 1 January 2026)
- Maximum Age: 40 years (as of 1 January 2026)
- Age Relaxation: Reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD) receive relaxation as per Madhya Pradesh government norms. 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and 10 years for PwD candidates.
Fees
- General/Other State: ₹560 (includes ₹500 exam fee plus processing charges)
- SC/ST/OBC/EWS (MP domicile): ₹310
- PwD: ₹310
- Payments can be made online via net banking, UPI, credit card, or debit card.
Selection Process
- Computer Based Test (CBT): A single-stage online exam with 100 objective-type questions covering Agriculture Science, Rural Development, General Knowledge, and Reasoning. The exam carries 100 marks and lasts 2 hours.
- Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates from the CBT are called for verification of their educational certificates, category certificates, and identity proof.
- Final Merit List: The final selection is based on CBT scores (and any applicable state-level weightage), followed by a merit list released by MPPEB.
