The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB) has released the ASI and Head Constable Computer Practical Admit Card 2026 on 9 September 2026. Candidates shortlisted for the practical and physical proficiency stages can download their hall tickets for the recruitment of 89 Assistant Sub-Inspector and Head Constable Computer posts through the official portal.

The admit card contains the candidate’s reporting time, examination date, venue, roll number and stage-specific instructions. Entry to the examination centre will be permitted only after verification of the hall ticket and an original photo identity document.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

The post-wise qualification requirements generally differ for Assistant Sub-Inspector Computer and Head Constable Computer positions:

  • For Assistant Sub-Inspector Computer, candidates should possess a recognised degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications or an equivalent discipline specified in the recruitment notification.
  • For Head Constable Computer, candidates should have passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination, ordinarily with relevant science or mathematics subjects, along with the prescribed computer diploma or technical qualification.
  • Candidates must have obtained their qualification from a recognised board, university or institution by the eligibility cut-off date.
  • Original educational certificates will have to be produced during document verification.

Age Limit

  • The minimum age is generally 18 years.
  • The upper age limit is ordinarily 33 years, subject to the recruitment rules and cut-off date.
  • Relaxation in the upper age limit applies to eligible Madhya Pradesh reserved-category candidates, women and other notified groups under state government rules.
  • Candidates should check the original recruitment notification for category-wise age conditions.

Fees

  • General and candidates outside Madhya Pradesh: ₹500 per question paper, where applicable.
  • SC, ST, OBC, EWS and eligible PwD candidates domiciled in Madhya Pradesh: ₹250 per question paper, where applicable.
  • Online portal or kiosk charges may have been collected separately.
  • No fresh application fee is required to download the practical admit card.

  1. Written Examination: Candidates are assessed on the subjects and technical knowledge prescribed for the respective posts.

  1. Visit the MPESB official website at esb.mp.gov.in.
  2. Open the Admit Card or Latest Updates section available on the homepage.
  3. Select the link for the ASI and Head Constable Computer Practical/Physical Proficiency Test Admit Card 2026.
  4. Enter the required credentials, such as the application number, date of birth and any displayed security code.
  5. Submit the details and verify the candidate’s name, roll number, photograph, exam date, reporting time and centre address.
  6. Download the hall ticket and print at least two clear copies for examination-day use.
  7. If any personal detail is incorrect, contact the examination authority immediately through the helpdesk information available on the official portal.

Candidates should reach the centre before the reporting deadline. They must carry the printed admit card, an original government-issued photo ID and any additional certificates or photographs specified on the hall ticket. Electronic devices, calculators, study material and prohibited items should not be taken inside the venue.
