Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree from a university established by law in India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the government.
  • Applicants awaiting the final result of the qualifying degree were required to meet the conditions specified in the detailed recruitment notification.
  • Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script is required.
  • Candidates should also have knowledge of Rajasthan’s culture, traditions and social customs.
  • Educational and eligibility documents must be produced in original during document verification or the interview process.

Age Limit

  • The minimum age prescribed for applicants is generally 20 years.
  • The upper age limit is generally 25 years, calculated on the cutoff date stated in the notification.
  • Upper-age relaxation applies to candidates from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, women, ex-servicemen and other eligible categories under Rajasthan government rules.
  • Date-of-birth details entered in the application must match the candidate’s Class 10 certificate or other accepted proof.

Fees

  • General and creamy-layer OBC/MBC candidates: ₹600.
  • SC, ST, non-creamy-layer OBC/MBC, EWS and eligible candidates with disabilities: ₹400.
  • Application correction fee, where applicable: ₹500.
  • Fees were payable online through the Rajasthan Single Sign-On and One-Time Registration system. Candidates should refer to the detailed notification for exemptions and category-specific conditions.

Selection Process

  1. Written Examination: Candidates first appear in the competitive written examination covering the subjects and syllabus prescribed by RPSC. Qualifying marks and category-wise cutoffs apply.
  2. Physical Tests: Written-exam qualifiers are called for the Physical Measurement Test and Physical Efficiency Test. Candidates must meet the required height, chest, weight and performance standards applicable to their category.
  3. Interview and Document Verification: Candidates included in the 2026 shortlist will be called for an aptitude test/interview and verification of original certificates. Final merit will be prepared after considering performance in the prescribed stages and applicable recruitment rules.

  2. Open the recruitment or candidate information section and select the Sub Inspector/Platoon Commander recruitment notice.
