Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Applicants were required to meet the qualification conditions prescribed for the Statistical Officer post. The principal requirements include:

  • A master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Commerce, Agricultural Statistics or another notified discipline from a recognised university.
  • Candidates must have studied Statistics as a subject where required under the detailed recruitment rules.
  • Working knowledge of Hindi written in the Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthan’s culture are required.
  • Computer proficiency or a recognised computer qualification may also be necessary under the applicable service rules.
  • Candidates called for document verification must produce original degree certificates, mark sheets and other eligibility documents.

Age Limit

  • Minimum age: 21 years.
  • Maximum age: 40 years, subject to the cut-off date specified in the recruitment notification.
  • Age relaxation is applicable to SC, ST, OBC, MBC, EWS, women, persons with benchmark disabilities and other eligible categories under Rajasthan government rules.
  • The date of birth recorded in the matriculation or equivalent certificate will ordinarily be used for age verification.

Fees

  • General and creamy-layer candidates of Rajasthan: ₹600.
  • SC, ST, OBC non-creamy layer, MBC non-creamy layer, EWS and persons with disabilities: ₹400.
  • A separate objection fee may apply for each question challenged against the provisional answer key.
  • Candidates should confirm the applicable fee and payment method from the official objection notice before submission.
