Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th Pass) or its equivalent from a recognized board.
- For certain posts such as Track Maintainer Grade-IV, candidates must possess an ITI certificate in relevant trades in addition to the 10th pass requirement.
- The final year/semester students are not eligible to apply for this recruitment.

Selection Process
The selection process for RRB Group D CEN 09/2025 consists of multiple stages:
- Computer Based Test (CBT): A single-stage objective-type exam with 100 questions covering General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, and General Awareness. The exam duration is 90 minutes (120 minutes for PwBD candidates with scribe).
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Successful candidates from the CBT are called for a physical test involving a 35-metre race (men) or 100-metre run (women), along with a standard lifting of 35 kg (men) or 20 kg (women). Candidates must be medically fit to qualify.
