Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must possess a master’s degree in the relevant subject from a recognised university or institution.
- A minimum of 55% marks, or an equivalent grade wherever the grading system is followed, is generally required.
- Applicants must have qualified NET, SLET or SET, as applicable under University Grants Commission norms.
- Candidates holding an eligible PhD may receive exemption from NET-related requirements in accordance with prevailing UGC regulations and the detailed recruitment notification.
- The postgraduate subject must correspond to the Assistant Professor discipline selected in the application form.
Age Limit
- The general age range is 21 to 40 years, calculated on the cut-off date specified in the notification.
- Relaxation in the upper age limit applies to SC, ST, OBC, persons with benchmark disabilities, ex-servicemen and other eligible Uttar Pradesh categories under state government rules.
