The examination is scheduled to be held in two shifts on each examination day. Shift 1 will run from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon, while Shift 2 will be conducted from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Applicants must have passed Class 10/High School or an equivalent examination from a recognised board.
- Candidates possessing an intermediate, diploma, graduate or higher qualification may also apply, subject to the conditions in the detailed notification.
- Passing PET does not automatically confer appointment. Candidates must satisfy the post-specific educational and technical qualifications prescribed in subsequent Group C recruitment advertisements.

Selection Process
- Preliminary Eligibility Test: Candidates will take an objective examination carrying 100 questions for 100 marks. The paper is generally conducted for two hours and covers general knowledge, current affairs, elementary mathematics, Hindi, reasoning, science, history, geography, the Indian Constitution and related topics. A negative marking of one-fourth mark applies for each incorrect answer.
