Candidates should download the admit card well before the examination date rather than waiting until the final day. The precise exam shift, reporting time and gate-closing time will be printed on each candidate’s hall ticket.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Applicants must hold a degree from a recognised university or an equivalent qualification.
  • Candidates should be able to read, write and speak Bengali, subject to the exemptions provided under the recruitment rules.
  • The qualification must have been obtained by the eligibility cut-off date mentioned in the detailed advertisement.
  • Candidates may be required to produce original degree certificates and mark sheets during document verification.

Age Limit

  • The usual prescribed age range is 20 to 39 years, calculated on the cut-off date stated in the official notification.
  • Upper-age relaxation is applicable to eligible SC, ST, OBC, persons with benchmark disabilities and other reserved categories under West Bengal government rules.
  • Date of birth recorded in the Madhyamik or equivalent certificate will generally be treated as final.

Fees

  • SC and ST candidates from West Bengal and eligible persons with benchmark disabilities are ordinarily exempt from paying the examination fee.

Selection Process

The WBPSC Miscellaneous Services recruitment process is expected to consist of three stages:

How to Apply

The online application window has already closed. Registered candidates can obtain the WBPSC Miscellaneous Services e-admit card by following these steps:

  1. Visit the official WBPSC portal at psc.wb.gov.in.
  2. Open the section for candidate information, examinations or downloadable admit cards.
  3. Select the link titled Miscellaneous Services Recruitment (Preliminary) Examination 2024 Admit Card.
  4. Enter the required login details, such as enrolment number, registration number or date of birth.
  5. Submit the information and check the candidate’s name, photograph, roll number, exam date, timing and centre address.
  6. Download the hall ticket and print a clear copy for use on October 4, 2026.
  7. If any personal or examination detail is incorrect, contact WBPSC through the official help channel without delay.

Candidates must carry a printed admit card and an original government-issued photo identity document, such as an Aadhaar card, voter ID, passport, PAN card or driving licence. They should also carry any additional document or photograph specifically mentioned on the hall ticket. Electronic devices, calculators, smartwatches, study material and other prohibited items must not be taken inside the examination venue.
