Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Applicants must satisfy the qualification and experience conditions prescribed in Advertisement No. 05/2025. The relevant requirements generally include:
- A degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognised university or institution, along with the required industrial experience; or
- A recognised degree with Physics or Chemistry and the prescribed experience in a factory or industrial establishment;
- A recognised degree or diploma in Industrial Safety, where required under the service rules;
- Knowledge of Hindi or Sanskrit up to Matric level or as a subject in higher education;

Age Limit
- Minimum age: 18 years.

- Applicants seeking relaxation must produce valid supporting certificates during document verification.
Fees
- General male candidates and male candidates from other states: ₹1,000.
- General female candidates and eligible Haryana reserved-category applicants: ₹250.
- Persons with benchmark disabilities belonging to Haryana: No fee, subject to the applicable conditions.

Selection Process
- Screening Test: The preliminary paper is expected to contain objective-type questions. The notified pattern generally provides 100 questions, a two-hour duration and negative marking of 0.25 mark for each incorrect response. Candidates should follow the final instructions printed on the question paper and admit card.
- Subject Knowledge Test: Shortlisted candidates will take a detailed subject paper covering nine areas—safety management, accident prevention, occupational health and industrial hygiene, fire safety, electrical safety, chemical and process safety, construction and material-handling safety, labour and factory legislation, and environmental or disaster management. The paper may carry 150 marks with a three-hour duration.
- Interview and Document Verification: Candidates qualifying in the written stages will be called for an interview and verification of educational, experience, age, category and identity documents. Final merit will be prepared using the weightage prescribed by HPSC.
Candidates should study statutory provisions, practical safety procedures, hazard assessment methods, emergency planning and technical standards rather than relying only on general aptitude material.
