Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must have passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised board or institution.

Selection Process

The SSC Stenographer Grade C and D recruitment process is expected to include the following stages:

  2. Stenography Skill Test: Candidates shortlisted from the CBE must complete a qualifying stenography test. The dictation speed and transcription time differ for Grade C and Grade D and for Hindi and English options.

  3. Log in and select the application link for Stenographer Grade C and D Examination 2026.
  4. Enter personal, educational, category and communication details carefully. Select the preferred examination centres and stenography language where required.
  5. Upload or capture the photograph and signature in the format prescribed by SSC. Candidates should avoid blurred images or signatures that do not meet the stated dimensions.
