The spot admission process is administered under the Telangana Council of Higher Education framework to fill institute-wise vacant seats; therefore, the total number of available seats has not been fixed centrally and will vary by college and course.

  • For MCA admission, candidates should hold a BCA, bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering, or another eligible degree with mathematics at the Class 12 or graduation level, as prescribed.
  • Candidates are generally required to secure at least 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination. The minimum is normally 45% for candidates belonging to eligible reserved categories.
  • Applicants awaiting final-year results must produce the required pass certificates and mark sheets within the deadline specified by the admission authority.
  • TG ICET-qualified candidates may receive priority. Admission of non-qualified candidates, if permitted, will be considered only under the conditions stated in the official spot admission guidelines.

Age Limit

  • No specific upper age limit has been indicated for TG ICET MBA or MCA spot admission.
  • Candidates must meet all academic and institutional eligibility requirements applicable to the programme.
  • Any age-related condition included in the official university or college rules will remain binding.

Fees

  • The spot admission processing fee is TBA and must be confirmed from the official notification or participating institution.
  • Selected candidates may have to pay tuition fees and other institutional charges at the time of admission.
  • Fee reimbursement eligibility, where applicable, will be governed by Telangana government rules and may differ for candidates admitted through spot counselling.
  • Applicants should obtain an official receipt for every payment and avoid transferring money through unverified channels.

Selection Process

  1. Application and vacancy check: Candidates must identify colleges reporting vacant MBA or MCA seats and submit the prescribed application within the available window.
  2. Merit and eligibility assessment: Institutions will prepare admissions based on TG ICET rank, qualifying examination marks, category rules and the priority order specified in the spot admission guidelines.
  3. Document verification and fee payment: Final admission will be confirmed only after verification of original certificates, availability of a seat and payment of the required admission fee.

How to Apply

  4. Complete the online application, if a central application link is provided. Where admissions are institution-level, download or obtain the application form from the respective college.
