Overview

The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) has released the Lecturer Provisional Answer Key 2026 for Hindi Paper 1 and Paper 2 under the Uttarakhand Special Subordinate Education (Lecturer–Group ‘C’) Services Examination-2025. The answer keys are available for all four question-paper series—A, B, C and D—for the recruitment drive covering 808 Lecturer vacancies.

Candidates who appeared in the examination can download the relevant answer key from psc.uk.gov.in, compare their responses and submit objections within the period specified by the commission.

The provisional key is not the final result. UKPSC will examine the objections received from candidates before preparing the final answer key and declaring the examination result.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must possess a postgraduate degree in the relevant subject, including Hindi for the concerned Lecturer post, from a recognised university.
  • A B.Ed., LT diploma or another prescribed teaching qualification may be required in accordance with the service rules for the relevant post.
  • Applicants must have fulfilled all qualification requirements by the cut-off date stated in the detailed recruitment notification.
  • Candidates should check subject-specific requirements because qualifications can differ across Lecturer disciplines.

Age Limit

  • Minimum age: 21 years.
  • Maximum age: 42 years.
  • The crucial date for calculating age will be the date specified in the recruitment notification.
  • Upper-age relaxation is applicable to SC, ST, OBC, persons with disabilities, ex-servicemen and other eligible categories under Uttarakhand government rules.

Fees

  • General, OBC and EWS candidates: ₹172.30.
  • SC and ST candidates: ₹82.30.
  • Persons with disabilities: ₹22.30.
  • Any applicable processing or portal charge must be paid through the online payment facility.
  • Candidates should verify the category-wise fee in the official notification before making a payment.

Selection Process

  1. Written Examination: Candidates must qualify in the prescribed written papers, including subject-related papers. The newly issued provisional key covers Hindi Paper 1 and Paper 2.
  2. Interview and Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates may be called for an interview and verification of educational, category, domicile and other eligibility documents, as prescribed.
  3. Final Merit List: Final selection will be based on performance in the applicable stages, subject to verification of eligibility and fulfilment of service conditions.

How to Apply

The online application period for this recruitment cycle has closed. Candidates who appeared in the examination can now download the answer key and raise objections by following these steps:

  1. Visit the official UKPSC portal at psc.uk.gov.in.
  2. Open the section for Answer Keys, candidate updates or recent notifications.
  3. Select the notice for the Uttarakhand Special Subordinate Education (Lecturer–Group ‘C’) Services Examination-2025.
  4. Choose Hindi Paper 1 or Hindi Paper 2, depending on the paper attempted.
  5. Download the PDF corresponding to question-paper series A, B, C or D.
  6. Match the series code carefully and compare the provisional answers with the responses marked during the examination.
  7. If an answer appears incorrect, open the objection link provided in the notice and log in using the required candidate credentials.
  8. Select the question number, provide a clear explanation and upload supporting material from an authoritative academic source.
  9. Pay the objection fee, if applicable, and submit the challenge before the notified deadline.
  10. Save the submitted objection receipt or acknowledgement for future reference. Objections sent after the deadline or through an unauthorised mode may not be considered.
