  • Applicants must satisfy the subject combination and minimum-mark requirements prescribed for the Pravakta post they select.
  • Degrees obtained through distance or open-learning modes must be recognised by the competent regulatory authority.
  • Candidates awaiting their final qualifying result should apply only if the notification specifically permits them to do so.
  • Eligibility will be assessed with reference to the closing date for online applications. Applicants should therefore possess all required certificates by the relevant cut-off date.

  • The expected minimum age for the Pravakta post is 21 years, calculated on the cut-off date mentioned in the notification.
  • The applicable upper-age condition, if any, must be checked in the detailed UPESSC advertisement.
  • Age relaxation will apply to eligible SC, ST, OBC, persons with benchmark disabilities, ex-servicemen and other reserved categories in accordance with Uttar Pradesh government rules.
  • Candidates seeking relaxation must produce a valid category or service certificate during document verification.

Fees

  • The category-wise application or examination fee will be specified in the detailed notification and online application portal.
  • Candidates should check the payable amount for General, OBC, EWS, SC, ST and PwBD categories before submitting the form.
  • Payment is expected to be accepted through the available online methods, such as debit card, credit card, internet banking or UPI.
  • Any processing or bank charge displayed by the payment gateway may be payable separately.
  • The application should not be treated as complete until the fee payment status is successfully updated, unless the candidate belongs to a fee-exempt category.

Selection Process

The selection procedure will be governed by the examination scheme published by UPESSC. It is expected to include the following stages:

  1. Written Examination: Applicants will appear for a competitive examination assessing subject knowledge and other prescribed areas. The detailed syllabus, examination pattern and marking scheme will be released by the commission.
  2. Interview or Additional Assessment: Shortlisted candidates may be called for an interview or another assessment if this stage is included for the notified Pravakta posts.
  3. Document Verification and Final Merit: Academic, identity, category and eligibility documents will be examined before the final selection list is prepared. Appointment will remain subject to fulfilment of all service conditions.
